Visiting & Hosting (3/2/26)
Hey Support Family! |
![]() This month was, in the best way, full of family time. Between traveling to visit family and welcoming family here, we were reminded how deeply relationships shape this season of our lives. It gave us space to step away from our normal routines while also seeing how our everyday life and ministry continue to grow. We are grateful for the gift of shared time, both near and far, and for the steady reminder that God is the One who strengthens and equips us for each season. “Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20–21) Puerto Rico |
![]() ![]() ![]() At the beginning of this month, We had the chance to visit family in Puerto Rico, which was such a gift. Originally, this trip was meant to serve as our visa run, not knowing at the time that we would have already been to the States for Christmas. Josh’s brother Judson and his wife moved to Puerto Rico about the time we moved to Costa Rica. Judson is a part of the U.S. Coast Guard as a Rescue Swimmer. It was special to see the life and community they are building. Being able to step into their daily rhythms, share meals, meet their friends, and spend time together reminded us how important those connections are. We loved experiencing the island alongside them through surfing, climbing, hiking, and other adventures. Living abroad makes family time feel even more intentional, and we were especially grateful for the moments we shared throughout that week. |
Ministries ![]() ![]() Our ministries continue to move forward in steady and encouraging ways. As we settle more fully into our roles, we are seeing growth not only in the work itself but in our own hearts and capacity. There are still plenty of things to learn, but the rhythms are becoming more natural and the responsibilities more familiar. We truly feel blessed by God to be part of these ministries. It has been humbling to see how He allows us to contribute in small ways while also shaping and growing us through the process. Already, we can look back and recognize how much we have learned and how much He has stretched us. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve in this season and excited to continue building, investing, and trusting Him with what comes next. Hosting Family We had the joy of sandwiching this month with family. Spending time in Puerto Rico with family at the beginning of this month to ending the month off with hosting Josh’s parents here in Costa Rica. It was such a blessing to show them around the place we now call home. We loved bringing them into our everyday life, from the streets we walk and the places we drink coffee at, to the ministries we are part of each week. We spent lots of time outdoors and we took them to explore parts of the jungle where we were able to see so much wildlife. It was meaningful to introduce them to some of our friends, our church, and the community that has become such an important part of living here. Sharing both the adventurous moments and the everyday rhythms of our life here made their visit especially sweet. We are so grateful for family who supports and encourages what God is doing in this chapter of our lives. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fundraising Update We are grateful to share that we’ve currently raised 76.77% of our needed support for this year! We are getting closer. We thank God for His provision so far and for each of you who have prayed, encouraged, and given so generously to help us reach this point. Would you continue to join us in prayer as we seek the remaining support? Specifically, please pray:
God has already shown His provision in so many ways, and we are confident He will continue to lead and supply all that is needed for the ministry ahead. |
